If you're a mum, like me, or you've got loads of stuff going on at the moment you'll be starting to wonder how you can enjoy the summer break without feeling so frazzled!
I've got to admit over the last few months life has been super crazy (yet again!) and now I've finally passed my Level 3 Diploma in Life Coaching I want to pass on a few elements to you! You need to make this the summer of love….for yourself!
So here's the plan!
1) Each week you're going to jot down something that you want to remove from your life that's not helping you move forward. Could it be a simple remake someone has made about you that's lingering? Well I want you to look at yourself in the mirror and say it to yourself. Feel stupid? Probably because whatever you're holding onto and not loving doesn't really encompass who you are! Say it, and then say I'm casting you aside. I don't need to see you again!
2) Find one thing each week to compliment yourself! Use the mirror again. You go woman! You're looking like you could kick some ass today! Replace your negative above with this!
3) Turn off what you don't really need. It's summer and you do not need to be constantly attached to your phone! Set some summer working hours and stick to them. Delete the apps you don't need from your phone and replace them with books, notebooks and Netflix binges! Each Sunday I leave my phone in the bedroom and for 3 weeks I've managed to read a book a week instead of feeling the phone glue! It doesn't have to be a book, it can be a guitar, a film, cooking but something you really feel like doing rather than scrolling through a phone waiting for a like or comment!
4) Say yes more! I've avoided going out a lot since a third baby was born. I always make excuses and think my partner can't cope doing 3 bedtimes! Well this week I'm going out out!!
